Our in‑house project teams bring the experience, capability, and professional oversight required to successfully deliver complex projects as Principal Contractor. We work collaboratively with all Duty Holders, including Principal Designers, designers, client teams, and specialist subcontractors, ensuring clear communication, coordinated delivery, and shared accountability from the outset.

As Principal Contractor, BP Installations provides a flexible, end‑to‑end service, managing projects from early design and planning stages through to final completion. We place strong emphasis on client engagement, working closely with stakeholders to understand objectives, manage risk, and deliver efficient, well‑coordinated outcomes. Through proactive planning, robust project controls, and effective team collaboration, we ensure all CDM requirements are fully met while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and programme efficiency.

As Principal Contractor, BP Installations takes full responsibility for planning, managing, and monitoring all construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with statutory requirements. Our responsibilities include:

• Implementing, monitoring, and reviewing risk mitigation and control measures throughout the project lifecycle
• Providing and maintaining appropriate welfare, health, and safety facilities for all site personnel
  Ensuring the selection, coordination, and management of competent personnel and supply chain partners for every task
• Communicating key safety, project, and site‑specific information through structured inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety briefings
  Establishing, maintaining, and monitoring robust site security and access controls

Our teams are experienced in operating within complex, live environments and are highly effective when working alongside multiple interfacing projects. When managing Health & Safety and logistical aspects, we take a coordinated and collaborative approach, minimising disruption, maintaining efficiency, and ensuring safe integration with adjacent works and client operations.
